Bachelor Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN)

The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Bachelor trains students to become developers by combining theory with practice in laboratories throughout the study. Right from the first year students can specialise in Embedded Systems or Industrial and Power Systems.

The Bachelors course in Electrical and Electronic Engineering will give you the innovative edge that sets you apart from the rest. This 4-year, full-time course, taught entirely in English, trains you to work in 1 of 2 main fields:

  • Industrial and Power Systems
  • Embedded Systems

Embedded Systems focuses on the design, built and testing of intelligent systems and smart devices. The course offers students the possibility to do a work placement abroad or in the Netherlands for 6 months. A semester is also dedicated to following a minor at a partner university or at HAN (Embedded Vision Design, Power Minor). The final step is the graduation assignment, which is involves solving a real-life issue at a company.
