NHTV is an education institution with about 7,700 students from over 60 countries. It is situated in the south of the Netherlands, in the city of Breda. NHTV was founded in 1966 as an institute offering bachelor’s programmes in tourism and leisure and in this field, it is the largest and leading education institution in the world. New (academic) bachelor’s and master’s programmes have been developed since then. With a focus on the development of academic knowledge and the promotion of sound professional practice, the specialist disciplines of NHTV are:

International Tourism Management is a broad-based management programme with room for personal development and individual choices (modular system). As a graduate, you are likely to find positions such as: e-commerce officer in a travel Organisation, yield manager at an airline company, merchandise manager in an attraction park, entrepreneur in a recreation business, marketeer at a tourism board, sales/account manager for a holiday resort or tourism destination consultant. The four specialisations are: Travel Industry, Recreation & Hospitality, Tourism Destinations and Attractions & Theme Parks Management.
